Ironic how guys like Miles and Petterd repeatedly put their bodies on the line and some of our stronger blokes just won't...

Has anyone else notice how long he can kick the footy? A really good leg on him.

Not a coincidence that our performances have improved since this guy has been in the team...
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.

Won 3 and lost two since Miles has been in the side.
Contested possessions have improved in that time.
We were trying to play 2011 Melbourne type non committal bruise free stuff before that.
Helps that Grigg aint in the side either. :thumbsup

Hardwick admitted he had not expected Anthony Miles to have the impact he had since coming into the side. He continued his stellar form against Port with a 28-disposal performance.

“I didn’t, I’ll be honest, he’s an incredible competitor,’’ he said.

“You have got to love those players that continue to surprise you at every level, he has done it all his career. The ability to win the hard ball can never be underestimated and that’s what he does really well ... he just keeps getting it done.

“He has been really impressive for us.’’

clearly the notion that it could be our implementation of it that sucks has never entered some peoples mind.

unless, of course,  it was just a dream the success roos had with it at Sydney
