IMO Kelvin Moore is not tall enough to be a regular full back. At the moment he has been playing full back for Coburg and doing well despite giving away few centimeters. His main strength is his reading of the play. Currently he is a bit light and needs to add some muscle mass. Also his hardness and intensity is a concern but that is understandable at this stage of his development.
I hope he can develop into a half back in the mould of a Wellman/McPhee/Hart/McKenna type player. I beleive he has the skill/smarts and the awarness to do so, but will need to be developed carefully and encouraged to attack. I hope he doesn't become another Kellaway/Gaspar type who are only concerned about stopping and scragging their man with no emphasis on providing an attacking running option.
He does look a likely type - raw talent one would say - in that he naturally has good awareness, reading of the play and decent skills. How he is developed from now on will dictate how good he becomes. In the next few years I would like to see him add muscle and strength, and concentrate on adding more urgency and "burst" into his game. At the moment he looks a bit too relaxed - a bit like Bowden. I hope he gets out of this perceived way he goes about it pretty quickly.
I don't see him as the answer at full back, but can become a tallish, running half back that can cover a 2nd or 3rd tall in defence and also pinch hit up forward.
