I was at the Club today and have a photo taken from the other side of the new building  ;D

Certainly isn't as "finished" as the view you get from Punt Road

I will load it onto the site tomorrow night when I have more time  :thumbsup

Can I add (and I aint no builder) but I'd be very surprised if it is finished by late Nov early Dec - it is basically a shell inside  ;D

That's all they could afford after being fleeced on trendy yellow and black colourbond panels  :lol

we need to buil bigger stands so we can have home games at punt... we could gain partnership with Virgan or big company that would suppot/ fund most of teh building with free sponsership aslong as it helps out with the stadium.. simliare to what the English soccer league cause we get teh same average croweds as they do so why not?  :thumbsup

It can be done and is possible  :whistle

There's not enough exposure for AFL worldwide to attract sponsorship like that compared to the Premier League which is broadcast around the world.

Carlton tried to upgrade Princes Park on their own as their home ground and it almost sent them broke

Saw them training there the other day - So would say not yet.

If the completion date for the new redevelopment is behind schedule and has been pushed back as has been suggested then it won't matter as you'd think we'll train more at Craigieburn or at least away from Punt Rd Oval until it's finished.

Melb Council has the final say on whether cricket stays or goes

The other thing of course is cricket needs another venue and perhaps it isn't ready either

Q. how long until they finish the redevelopments?

A. should be over two stages, January and then March

Disappointing to read that.... actually if I wanted to be really harsh I'd use the term pathetic.

Overall you could argue that this "project" will be about 2 years late by the time it is finished

Every other bloody club that have had these types of redevelopments have got them done on time

As I said disappointing  :-\
