I never liked the design originally but it is a lot more impressive in the flesh, quite like it.

Exactly CUB. You have to see it in the flesh to get a proper picture of what it looks like. The pics on the web don't do it justice and how large the interior is. One thing the building does do is attract the attention of those travelling past along Punt Rd or Brunton Avenue. Better than having a dull square box design like North or Carlton that a dime a dozen. Remember the black with a number of yellow stripes is meant to represent the players linking arms as they sing the theme song so it's uniquely ours.

Ramps always wanted the original garage door design  ;D.

Jack Riewoldt has given the new re-development "5-stars" on twitter  :thumbsup

Brad Miller: "Just finished our first weights session in the new facility on punt rd! You can visibly see a change in the players."

Daniel Jackson: "have u seen Nahas walking around with that stick in hand? Apparently it's so he can press the button for the 3rd floor!"

So the boys have a new weights facility in there.

I would expect to see a vast improvement in the size of the more scrawny players then.   :gotigers

Not sure how new weights make them any heavier

it's not that they're new weights but that I'd imagine more weights so all players can freely use them anytime and not have to wait in line for the use of just one miserly dumbell.

If this scenario hasn't been true then why have we been the skinniest club for such a long time? Why do some of our players seem to have such small arms compared to other teams?
It's no wonder our boys get pushed off the ball so easily.
The club that keeps giving.

The old gym had plenty of weights
Just the building was very old.
The equipment was there, always has been :weights :weights :weights :weights

Age? Historic game plan of being non-contact 'runners'?

Maybe they are just pussies. All of them.

They are all pussies.

Can I go home now?
