Needs to learn to keep his feet and also when to fly for the mark and when to crumb. Seemed a bit lost at times but could have been the hero, will surely remember his first game for the Tigers for all the wrong reasons.

Lots of players slipped over on that poo ground

Actually interested to see what it looked like on TV

Being there it looked like a patch work quilt.

Richmond coach Damien Hardwick believes talented Tiger teenage small forward Shai Bolton is well equipped to build on the gains he made in his AFL debut against Greater Western Sydney at Spotless Stadium last Saturday.

The 18-year-old had nine disposals, including seven contested possessions, three tackles, and went desperately close to winning the game for the Tigers with a snapshot goal that was subsequently overturned on review.

“It was probably a game of half chances for Shai.  He was thereabouts a couple of times . . . nearly kicked the match-winner,” Hardwick said.

“He’ll be better for the run this week, I’ve got no doubt about that.

“He’s got some agility, he’s got some toe, he’s got some finish . . . And not much fazes Shai, to be honest.

“We’ve just got to get him more involved, and that will come as he gains experience.

“He’s going to be a good player for us.”

No..his positioning/timing was out last week. He will be great when he adjusts to the pace and different angles/depth of disposals at this level. This is one kid who is made for AFL.

No..

Good. A positive though is despite running so far under the ball his massive leap sure made up for it at times. Will be hard to go with as a small who can leap at the ball like that if it all clicks
