Been our best player by far in the past 4 weeks.
The only real standout this year I reckon.

Considering he was dropped for Melbourne game & as such has only played the last 3 thats fair praise !!

Fair to say the fact Bolton was dropped while players like Riewoldt, Graham and Rioli are playing is evidence that the coaches aren’t that smart

The week before he got dropped (St. Kilda game) he kicked 2 goals and had 4 tackles...
Rioli has kicked 2 goals in his last 6 games...
Higgins has kicked 3 goals in his last 7 games....
Yer let’s drop George  :lol

He won’t be getting dropped again. Would be Top 3 in the B&F right now
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

A ready long term replacement for shed. Where he fits short term? In the fwd line I fear. Maybe he gets more rotations especially when shed comes back because he won't be match fit.
Let's hope he stays with us !

Needs to stay in the midfield, even when Dion and Sheds return.

How ? Dusty cotch prestia Edwards are the big 4. No doubt he will rotate through but  I think he will be atleast 50/50 fwd and mid but probably more 60/40

Bolton needs to stay mid. They can hardly touch him!

What's his contract status? Needs a big extension!

That still leaves room for him to rotate through with Dustin and Sheds also rotating in different positions.

Plus his current output is as good, if not better, than Dion, Cotch and Edwards' output earlier this year.

Or Edwards could start at hbf where he killed it last year....could then play WP's hero Shorty forward of the ball...where I actually think think he's a far more effective and dangerous player... :shh
