Bolton +P1 for Reid?

Otherwise I'd consider a *starting* point of P3 + Waterman for Bolton.

That simply will not happen….. would be deal of the century if it did
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

WC are not going to trade Reid

Expect a contract extension within the next 6 months

Not going to pry Harley Reid out of WC with Bolton.

But, we can bleed them dry with picks and make it our own!

Unless he makes it obvious to them he's not gonna be there the long haul.... :shh

I like all our premiership players and will be sad to see them go but if definitely explore trading Shai.

He is a mega star of the comp, but they type of player that excels in a successful team. Rankine is the same. In fact most half forwards are.

Meaning we won't get bang for buck off Shai for next 3-4 years which he will be out of contract and almost certainly leave in FA. 2 first rounders that Freo have would be outstanding business for a player we got from the Vickery compo pick and won us 2 flags. If it can be the Collingwood pick of Pick 7 with the strength in top 10 it'd be something we'd have to look at.
Go Tigers!

Shai is a very good player in a very good team.

In an average team, he becomes an average player as he gets heavily tagged and who shows some magic from time to time. Which is what is happening now.

He has checked out.

So, footy clubs need to maximise windows of opportunities. This is a BIG one. If Freo offer 2 x P1 picks, you take it and thank him for his time at the RFC.

Yep ! Can’t do the basics well. Can evade 5 guys then can’t hit a simple kick.. sick of his game.

People have to remember for the likes of Bolton, Baker and Rioli, considering the picks we used to get them, the returns would be incredible

The returns would be incredible if you can garauntee you are drafting a gun with the picks we get which is a coin flip at best.

I don’t know why there is this trend of crapping on Shai. Seriously we’ve got so many average and below average footballers on our list and people are jumping on the chance to get rid of one of our actual guns or pot every mistake he makes.

He is an offensive minded player, naturally he is going to struggle to shine in the lowest scoring team in the league whose whole attacking game plan seems to be bomb it long and high into the 50.

Because he show boats, burns team mates, gives away 50’s and free kicks time and time again. And you’re right, you can’t guarantee the picks will turn into good players but you have to try imo

Also he’s getting paid a lot of money
