I know everyones claiming the Dees payed overs but I think theyve done well there. Lever could be the next Rance. They already have enough young talent, dont need early picks at thia stage.

Imagine if Roosy kept pick 2 instead of trading it for Tyson and 9.  :lol

Dees are the gift that keeps giving.

Ah they woulda picked Aish or something.

Lol, what a disaster. Salem is decent enough I suppose.

At the risk of doing a Claw, Lever looks like a third man up defender

Claw ,and nearly everyone else for that matter, said the same about Rance.... :shh

They also said it about Jack as a 3rd tall forward....
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Just saw that Adelaide is shopping around Harrison Wigg.....was keen on him in his draft year, when he was regarded as the best kick in that draft....eventually went two picks after Usain Menadue....

Meh, Id take Watts. We've been in desperate need of a whipping boy since Vickery left.

We've had to resort to potting blokes like "Butter" Grimes.

Melbourne want an early second and luckily we don’t have one.

So hare Essendon weren't prepared to give up 11 for Stringer but did for Smith? How are they going to get both Stringer & Saad now?

I think they are still on drugs, just now they are a more psychological kind.

Only way I can see it happening is if they cough up future picks.

Regarding Stringer, they seem to be trying to wait out the Bulldogs in the belief that they will get desperate and move him on for anything. High risk high reward strategy. But I can see another club swooping in.

No, but we have two firsts and until we go back to back, I am always worried the Tigers of Old are waiting just around the corner.

and given that Stringer is open to going to other clubs - its a very real possibility - hell I could see us using one of our first rounders on him

A little birdie told me the Essendon players were not keen on Stringer after meeting him.

Maybe that is why they didn't use 11 on him.  :shh

I'm sure Richmond won't mind giving them a first instead

@Barrot01 - could the tigers go to WB and say here is pick 17 for Stringer if a deal can’t be done with ESS get back to us?

Ricky Nixon‏ - Of course but Richmond dont need $600 or $700 in their cap they wont go for Stringer bc of cost $$$$.

@Barrot01 - Fair enough, it will be interesting if tigers play any part in trades as they will have money from lids, yarran and Marie going.

Ricky Nixon‏ - The have no money and have 5-8 contracts to sort with players who played out of their skins this year.
