I'm hoping that this injury list means that young Graham has nothing too serious to his ankle. I remember a young Marc Dragacevic having immediate impact in the seniors before a shocking run of injuries ruined his career. I can see Graham coming in and having the same immediacy of impact if his body stays sound

thats funny

Now that's funny
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Injury update: Tuesday, July 25

Player               Injury     Estimated Return

Reece Conca*    Foot    TBC
Nathan Drummond*    Knee    Season
Jack Graham    Ankle    Test
Ben Griffiths    Shoulder    TBC
Shaun Hampson*    Back    Indefinite

The Tigers are confident Griffiths will avoid surgery for his dislocated right shoulder, keeping his hopes of returning this season alive. He visited his surgeon on Tuesday and hopes to have a timeline for recovery next week.

Miles will need to pass a fitness test after suffering a minor ligament strain in his right knee. He was able to cycle this week after suffering the injury at training last Friday. – Nathan Schmook

Does anyone know who fingered Jacks eye? Was Elton trying to mark the ball again?

Player             Injury      Estimated Return

Reece Conca*    Foot    1 week
Nathan Drummond*    Knee    Season
Ben Griffiths    Shoulder    1 week
Shaun Hampson*    Back    Available
Steven Morris    Hamstring    Test
Jack Riewoldt    Eye    Test

Early prognosis

Ruckman Shaun Hampson is set to play limited minutes in the VFL after a long lay-off with a back injury having ramped up his running in recent weeks. The Tigers are also optimistic defender Reece Conca will be able to play in the next week or two. Steven Morris has been sidelined for six matches with a hamstring injury and is due to push his case for a return, likely through the VFL.
