Cotchin would have found it hard if he was suspended for the 17 GF like he should have been, absolute Rort

Send Cotchin to the Suns and see how good a leader he is then 😂

Quote from: Mitchell Kermath @mitchykerm
Easy for Cotchin when they gave him a Brownlow he didn’t deserve and then let him play in a grand final he should’ve been suspended for

No, and at the moment we have the right to be arrogant! Winning a flag entitles you to that until the following season :)

North Melbourne's Shaun Atley ... said he found it difficult to watch finals football from his couch at home, admitting to feelings of envy watching Richmond players hold up the premiership cup last September.

He said some of his teammates avoided the television set at finals time altogether.

“You definitely get jealous,” he said.

“It can be hard to watch for sure.

“Some of the boys don’t even watch it because they don’t want to get that feeling, but we understand and we know it can turn really quickly.

“But at the same time there’s a lot of work that needs to go in behind that to get to that stage.”

Blight on SEN with Dwayne Russell said footy now is too defensive (wingmen pushed back at centre bounces to bolster the defence and tackling momentum to keep the ball in the forward line is causing more stoppages). A coach one day will go all out attack and change things.

ps. Having said that Blight likes Dimma as what Dimma says has always made sense to Blight.

Our game is based on defense first but once we have the ball it is get the ball as quickly forward by any means.

Would think our game would stand up against anyone trying all out attack. They would be caught out on rebound.

Poor old Ed.
Really sounds like a politician - setting up false arguments (straw man) that no-one has suggested just so they look silly.
Biggest club from Marvel, Biggest in Western suburbs, most revenue from pokies.

How about highest membership in the whole AFL
How about highest attendance in the AFL
How about highest ratings on AFL telecasts

Thats not a limitation based on venue, home  or non-core revenue.
Thats the best in the WHOLE competition we compete within.

Suck it up Ed.   oh and best of luck with your salary cap and upgrade subsidies.

Arrogance is saying on live tv, maybe dangerfield should have stayed and he'd be a premiership player. One week before the grand final where they were utterly humiliated. I wonder who did that?

If that's not arrogance then I don't know what is.
You know what, he was right. That's not arrogance. If Danger stayed, the Crows would have beaten Richmond in the 2017 GF. That year, Danger was the dominant brownlow medalist. He was a beast. Add him into that Crows team and they wouldn't have wilted.

 :lol

Funny that given Dusty was the 2017 Brownlow medallist and Danger didn't stop us beating Geelong in the finals of both 2017 & 2019 on our way to premierships :stupid.

More Geelong bias. Dwayne Russell on SEN this arvo claimed Dangerfield was the best player in the AFL and clearly by far the first player to be picked to play for Victoria. He also said Dangerfield was ahead of Buddy and Fyfe was close to him. No mention of Dusty  :lol.

Played Crows and GWS in Grand Finals two interstate sides who struggle at the G. different story if they versed a big Victorian club where the MCG doesn’t become so much of a home ground advantage imo.

Honestly getting beyond a joke with channel 7 continuing to give so much airtime to bed about theirs and the AFL's lovechild Richmond. How about you remember there are actually 17 other teams.
