What’s Lynch’s defensive pressure like? Jack Reiwoldt brings the heat nearly as well as the smalls so I can’t see why Lynch couldn’t put decent pressure on, couldn’t be worse than Caddy (not a pot shot, he’s just slow)

As long as it''s not as bad as Vickery & Griffiths.....

Are we actually getting him?  He might decide he wants to go to Collingwood after what we dished up.

I have wondered that myself.

The restricted free agency offer and unrestricted free agency period starts on Friday, 5th October.

Lynch won't announce anything until around then.

Gill was on 3aw this morning talking about why Gold Coast didn't receive a priority pick and one of the reasons he gave was the Suns will get pick 3 as compensation for Lynch. So it's pretty clear they aren't going to match any offer we make.

That’s bizarre reasoning.

Whilst it’s all very likely - the FA period hasn’t started yet. What if Lynch signed a 3 year deal worth 400k? Wouldn’t qualify them for the top band compo.

Still no word from lynch which is starting to look odd

Could it be an 11th hour change of mine coming

Patience grasshopper. Patience.
As has been said, he will announce it when the Free Agency period officially opens....

Coming from you Doc, that’s good enough for me.

Looking forward to the announcement though.

I honestly think Tom would be pretty happy with the result.

Would have been pretty tough for him to announce he was coming to us less than a week after we won a flag. It’ll appear far more justified now.

We could even rationalise going for another gun mid on the market. One that’s impervious to gastro 😉
