Very happy with him. He was excellent for a first gamer.

Solid game. Nothing spectacular but that wasn’t expected tonight.
Will be much better for the run. Keeps his place for next week.

Good game, and justifies the noise about him needing to play at the top level for his development. Looks like he will make a player and the VFL will only stunt his growth imo. More games for him and Mansell.

Looks like he’ll be a very good inside mid. Does he lack a little pace, he got his hands on it a few times as it spilled out of the pack, albeit only by half a step and he couldn’t capitalise.

Solid debut. Liked his attack on the ball and the man. Equal third most clearances for the game. Hopefully continues to build from this.

Did well.

First contest and applies a terrific tackle and gets rewarded with a free

Was our leading tackler in the 1st qtr and that is a great sign  :clapping

“I thought it (RCD's debut) was really good . . . He had 11 contested possessions and that’s the thing in his game we love,” Hardwick said.

“He had a couple of really crucial centre-bounce clearances that he won.

“He’s hard and tough, and he’s only going to get better for the experience.

“It’s funny, some players are okay at the lower level (VFL), but then, when they get picked to play AFL level, they become better. And I think he’s one of those guys.

Another player who can play a role, I was concerned when selected  but stood up against good opposition
