For me we need KP kids coming through.
Probably more so a defender but definitely both.

At present Garthwaite is about it for KPD and I don’t think he is any good.

Is there any decent KP kids at our first pick?

Possibly Will Gould at 19. Only 192cm tall but quite a unit at 106kg. Would need to trim down big time.

Of the blokes I mentioned I reckon Harry Schoenberg could be gone by our first pick anyway.

Elsewise, drafting on a need/depth basis:
Jake Riccardi (KPF) is listed at 194/96. Pick 38.
Emerson Jeka (KPD) is listed at 198/90. Pick 39.
Sam Philp (In Mid) is listed at 186/79 or Fraser Phillips (Mid FWD) is listed at 187/72. Pick 41.
Darcy Chirgwin (In Mid) is listed at 191/80. Pick 56 if he slips that far.

Picks 75, 77 and 95 are probably for rookie elevations you'd think.
For me I can cop if a KPD isn’t 195cm and up, but they just need to be quick, decent in the air, have a decent jump on him, but most importantly agile enough to compete when the ball hits the ground.

Grimes is the perfect prototype IMO. He can compete with anyone in the AFL.

Hawthorn through their purple patch had smaller types of defenders but all were like I have described.

So in saying all that, is there any defenders in the draft at any pick that have those qualities? But maybe just on the smaller/lighter size for a KPD?

KPF are a completely a different kettle of fish IMO.
Much harder to pick a KPF from the draft.

Are there any plans for live pick trading? Targeting any KPPs? :shh :shh

Anyone rate Jay Rantall and Sam Philp for our 38, 39, 41 picks.

The answer is, of course.

Also I have decided no to post the club's preferences in case the information is leaked by anyone who even just visits the website. I trust the posters here that have been long term followers of OER, so if anyone wants to know how the club ranks the first 27 players, please PM me. I have copied the post I was going to put up and will just paste it in the reply to the PM.

 :cheers

Cooper Stephens update: Tiges have indeed talked to him (as expected) and he would be ecstatic to get there. He supports the Hawks.

I'd like to thank whoever told the club that I've sent PMs with information about the draft.  They have contacted me and despite me thinking I was being discreet, they have decided to review my membership for next year. They will also most likely  never present such information to members again.

I will not be posting on this website again.

I wish you all the best for the future.
