Noticed stricter decisions of short kicks being called play on by the umpires? So have the clubs.

Clubs are preparing their players for tighter umpiring on the 15-metre kick being called play on after the AAMI Community Series and Opening Round games.

Free kicks, Dogs 14 pies 33 last night, bloody woeful, felt sorry for the doggies getting mauled so rapaciously by the umpires.

The last 3  minutes game on the line and the umpiring g was diabolical

Deliberate paid that shouldn't have been

Contact below the knees by Quaynor not paid... Hopper must be scratching his head

And another deliberate by the umpires favourite protected species and they call for a throw in

They were pathetic last night

The standard of umpiring this round is at an all time low.

Friday obviously set the benchmark and now the remainder are playing catch up

When you in Adelaide and a Port supporter behind you says "how can that not be free, we took the tiger kids legs out" you know  it's bad

It wasn't the reason for the loss but dodgy umpiring early in the 3rd quarter gave the Dees two goals and the scoreboard momentum.

Taranto free against that wasn't. Lead to a Melbourne goal.
https://x.com/7AFL/status/1915362164405129608

Followed by Dow being tackled to the ground without the ball (just before this clip starts). No free and another Melbourne goal.
https://x.com/AFL/status/1915365442866077775

The free to Taranto just before half-time was also dodgy.

The standard of umpiring is in crisis while the AFL is in denial because they are to blame. Nathan Williamson the main culprit last night but they were all terrible.
