Maybe so CUB  :lol :rollin :lol

I think the AFL expansion into Western Sydney and the chosen colours also may see the NRL propel Wests Tigers and South Sydney into competition frontrunners to hold down that territory.  :shh

I saw on the news tonight that Greg Inglis' future is still up in the there. I was surprised Andy D was so forthright in saying the AFL was interested in chasing Inglis. If the AFL was willing to pay for his "marketing" salary of a million or so I wouldn't mind seeing him as a rookie on our list. If Inglis could make the transition to Aussie Rules skill-wise his athleticism would make him a hard player to match-up on.

From Sydney Morning Herald

NO ACTION ON WALDRON FILES
SPEAKING of controversial figures - remember News Ltd boss John Hartigan and his promises that all of the files relating to former Melbourne Storm boss Brian Waldron would be handed to police? We are still waiting for the action against him. This column for one would still be interested in hearing from Waldron.

Just thinking, this has been buried. You have to ask, why hasn't there been action one way or another.  Is he innocent, guilty or something else  ???
Why didn't News Limited hand over the files?
Why has the police investigation stopped?

Given the issues with Carney and now Benji, the NRL are probably happy to avoid any more off-field dramas. The Storm were hammered in any case and Waldron is no longer dealing with the NRL so it's probably now out of sight out of mind for the NRL.

Todd Carney is the Fev of the NRL. What a waste of talent.

I'm not a big fan of RL but it was a good game last night. It's a competely different sporting culture in Sydney. They'll get 82k rocking up to a one-off SOO yet the NRL is lucky to get crowds of 10-15k to most games each week. Fickle lot up there!  :wallywink

Thurstans tonight getting his leg caught underneath two players and his knee buckling under the weight was sickening to watch :P. Gone for the year. It'll also confirm that any chance of SOO returning to AFL level ain't going to happen as no AFL club will risk losing their best player(s) midseason in state games.

As a Cowboys fan (member) I reckon with Thurston going down our season is now gawn.

After he went down I actually made the comment that's why I never want to see SOO back in the AFL

Off again on Friday to watch the Storm

Last H&A game at AAMI for the season

And BTW I am a member of the North Qld Cowboys - I got my 2012 membership renewal yesterday  :gobdrop

Would suggest the Tigers & other AFL Clubs look at what stuff they give out with their membership; looks terrific quality and for me all for $65  :clapping
