Needs to get a defensive side to his game BIG TIME.

A good link player when we are up and running but not so good on the flip side.

I couldnt do anything but laugh when he tried to out-mark Mundy instead of punch it.

Crazy stuff.

His turnovers and brain-fades are so, so damaging.

Another one was the simple kick out our 50 that went to a Freo player who then passed it inside 50 to a wide open 50.  And goals.  :-[

McMahon needs to be dropped on the back of that pathetic performance.
When you se how Wallace has hauled the likes of Bowden, Schulz, Polo etc. over the coals this year after a bad game he needs to do the same for Jordie.
Worst game from him for the year.
We know that won't happen. To do so in Jordie's first season would be an admission from the coaching staff and from a recruiting perspective that we possibly have made a boo boo on recruiting him. However next year will be more of a litmus test for Jordie and the coaching staff if he has doozy games like today to see whether thay drop him for poor form. Perhaps next season when Terry will really be in the gun in the last year of his contract he will be more ruthless towards Jordie knowing that his coaching credentialls and future at the club will be on the line and under intense scrutiny considering we will end up with 10.5 or 11.5 wins. A 0-2 or 0-3 start next year will ensure panic stations for Terry and perhaps Jordie running around at Coburg for a stint.

Sanchez was one of our best against Hawthorn so one bad game in a row probably won't get him dropped

On the other hand, ONE GOOD game doesnt give him grace from being looked at.

He is a very ordinary player.

He hasn't played just one good game though
He'd played far more good games than bad ones, he has a shocker a few times a year, but the rest he's very good

very good. ::)

he has played about 6 cracker games, the rest he has been very average.

okay let me ask you this, would you take the trade back or would you give him a pass mark this year.

some of his actions yesterday,  unrealistic hope he improves over the summer & puts some beef on with Edwards. they can eat out together
Edwards is only 19 and 6 years younger than Jordie so he's still learning. Both also average as many tackles as Browny and Sarge too coincidently.

At least the Morton trade has been a bargain for pick 35. 34.15 from a 21 year old mid-sized forward ain't half bad  :thumbsup. The Eagles must be kicking themselves.

Morton is one of the best pickup going round, but his too predictable & his action always the same. Defenders will work him out easy if he dont work on his playing style, other than that his done a great job & is the strong forward player we been looking for to replace Pettifer who is lazy.
Pettifer has had plenty of time to think & will work harder to get his place in the side, l wonder if he got it in him or how finally been found out & will be traded

The thing is, prior to this year, Pettifer wasn't lazy. He was often a link man running between half back and the forward pocket. The distance he was covering each match would have rivalled Ryan O'Keefe. He would have been one of the better performed half forward flankers up there with O'Keefe & Didak. Not sure what happened this year, but he was no where near that form, perhaps he was injured which is why he may be getting another year's contract, but if he was you'd think he wouldn't have played at Coburg.
