Richmond best and fairest Alex Rance has opened up about a range of issues on 3AW.

The gun defender shared his views on everything from football, social media and religion.

"I feel like religion has a bit of a stigma attached to it," Rance said on Sports Today.

He also spoke at length about just how close he came to giving the game away this year before signing a contract extension.
