I quite liked it but totally agree with the analogy.
AFL as a game takes itself way too seriously.
The players talk about how much fun it is, our coach talks about how the box is his “happy place” and we all know it’s bulltish when they wrap themselves up in self indulged rubbish for 3 hours on Brownlow night.
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Really good analogy Dio.

I know he's been through alot with his concussion and getting medically retired but I just felt he was over the top with his "praise" for the retiring players. And at times I also thought he sounded so bitter that he was suffering from "PLOM" disease...
