Overall Grade - How did we rate our draft?

Martin and Griffiths were good selections and we need both to come on

5/10 just because we got Martin and Griffiths.

Lets all support the players anyway.

Obviously too soon to really know but I hope Francis Jackson knows what he's doing
Some pretty handy talls left on the board in those last few rounds and Astbury was taken far too early... although some said the same thing about Post

seriously how can you possibly look at grading this batch? especially this draft more so than others, very very subjective

i wont grade the players but ill grade Francis Jackson. 0/10

Was just on SEN and really had nothing special to say apart from Griffiths and Martin.

was asked who he was happy with after Martin and all he could say is Griffiths and touched on Taylor.

No mention of the others.

How he still has a job is beyond me

Im not sold on FJ myself but in all fairness he almost sounded chuffed at how our selections went. You are correct that he only mentioned TT after Griffiths but he definitey sounded very happy wth himself. Really hope he knows what hes doing with astbury and Dea who both prob went higher than most draft wachers thought. this is his legacy for better or worse - time will tell

He was asked to nominate who of the later picks would really come on or words to that effect. Not a fair question and not fair to name any one individual amongst what are really just speculative picks.
Swawsh or however you spell his name, asked some really stupid questions
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

And yet if FJ was interviewed after the draft and was glowing in his analysis then you would have labelled it as spin from TW, and to stfu and let the results speak for themselves! Why can't anyone be pleased? Troy Taylor at 51 seems a good pick and we got two other good uns in a weak draft, what else do you want?

We went taller than I thought and that is good because our talls at the moment pick themselves and half of them have question marks over them.

I was against the tank, but gee pick 17 would have been useful. If we had got Tapscott @ 17 then I would rate this a very good all-round draft.

I am optimistic.

total waste f time recruiting players under 80kg and under 185cm
When will this club ever learn.
Cant beleive we picked a 21 yo at 181cm and under 80kilos :banghead
Francis Jackson shouldnt have a job I am afraid.
We already have a group of lighweights on our list and we go and add to them
