Now I am not saying big Gus will be a Dean Cox but if you must be able to see the trends for big guys. Give him a go , he has had injury which slowed him down and therefore has nowhere near the same number of games as Dean Cox but his stats are not far off at same age.
Wouldnt it be nice if he followed the same trend as big Cox. Ok I am dreaming but if he keeps improving he just might be our guy.
Not having a crack at you Fluffy but personally I hate these stats comparing players when they were at the same age. Cox is a Cox, Gus is Gus. Gus will never have the ability of a Dean Cox (I know you didn't say that). Cox is athletic, is a good kick and has a nice pair of hands and he's an intelligent player. Gus isn't going to pick up those attributes anytime soon, IMO. He has improved a lot but I don't see him ever being much more than a depth player when we're challenging for top 4.
BrownE is a similar type to him, he's just a lot more talented. I reckon BrownE will play a fair few games next season if he's got his fitness up.
I think it is make or break for Gus next season. Might not seem like it but he's in strife if Vickery, the new dude and Browne get picked over him. Only 22 games is acceptable from Graham.
