Noticed at the Coburg game on Sunday, TW spent quite some time talking to Krak. The conversation looked quite intense....was tempted to move closer and eavesdrop, but my good manners got the better of me :lol :lol

And because you may have either been a deep discussion about J. Bowden or putting the finishing touches to your petition for one A Gilmour ;D

 :rollin

But I agree it looked like a fairly intense conversation ;)

My theory on Krak is for a start he was F******'s project player and we all know how good a mentor DF was now Plough is defending him on a regular basis, saying he didn't think he was that bad last week. What game was he at.?. Against Freo I thought he done alright had his chances and could have kicked 4 if he took them.

The excuse that he's still learning the game is becoming rather mundane he's been at the club for what 3 years and has signed a 3 yr deal for $250k a season, some apprentice. The thing is he's shown in patches he can be a valuable player but just not often enough, we need him playing 100% every week.

I think the fact he is a walk up start for selection is the problem and he knows this he's just not working hard enough with the amount of ball that comes into our forward 50 he should be getting crumbs on a consistant basis it comes down to work ethic. We all know if Richo doesn't take the grab the ball is more often than not going to fall to th front of the contest and thats where he should be, usually he doesn't get to the contest at all.

A wake up call is needed 1 game in the magoo's will probably do the trick as it did with JB he'll get his focus back and get the message that if he wants to play senior footy regularly a higher work rate and conversion is needfed. But unfortunately I don't think this will be even considered untill after Rnd 8 if at all.

Why is it alright to say that either Richo or Browny had a quiet day, because the ball didn't get down the forward line enough, but not say the same thing about Krak?

We hardly got it inside the forward 50, most marks were taken right on the 50 m line.

Krak does his best work when we go direct thru the middle of the ground to FF----this gives him both sides of his body to work with. And lets face it, we've hardly played any direct footy since Krak started his career.

And I've gotta say I'm a little disappointed in you X-CITED, calling for Krak to get traded to the Roos. The logic behind it is reasonable, but how burnt would you feel if he blitzed at the Kangas after the work that the rfc has done with him.

You did however make up for it with the Annalise Braakinsek link   ;)

Didn't we have roughly the same amount of inside 50's that St.Kilda had?

Obviously the entries wouldn't have been as effective as the Inside 50's St.Kilda had, but the ball was there to be won on many occasions.

Krakouer didn't really get beaten in any contests becuase he was too slow to get to where the ball was.

I want to shoot the clown that gave this lazy player a 3 year contract.

Krakouer should consider himself fortunate that he hasn't been Cupido'ed.

annalise is my babe!

and re krak, im not calling for him to be traded, i want him to win a brownlow 4 us, i have his jack dyer 17 jumper he played in 2 years go signed!!!

i hope he turns it around 4 us and becomes a champ, what i meant was i just have a gut feeling he would rather be there than here cos of his dad!

but if we cannot come to an agreement maybe we can take annalise out on a date and talk it over with her!!!!lol :rollin

Don't know about him possibly pining for the roos but Krakouer does need to add more strings to his bow. When he can't get into the game for whatever reason as a crumber or midfielder he just vanishes and can't contribute in some other way. Having only a handful of possessions wouldn't be a problem if half of them were goals or goal assists say. Last year he had 3 games over the whole season where he didn't pick up 10 or more possies. He already has 3 this year. The other two games against the Dogs and Freo, where Krakouer achieved the levels he needs to make the norm rather than the exception, have probably saved him this week. The match committee might have looked on last week as 1 bad game in 3 weeks.

Good to see Krakouer play back to back good games. It's just not the 5 goals he kicked on Saturday but he's now at least having a impact and contributing be it in front of goal or at the bottom of a pack where earlier in the year he would vanish completely for large periods of a game.

You can usually tell when Kraks going well - it shows in his tackling, the more tackles the better he plays
