It's all about quality my dear Oxx, not quantity.

The difference is if a bloke is rooting a desirable chick then most other blokes will say well done mate whereas if a woman is rooting a desirable bloke then women tend to get catty and jealous.
Are you say we are jealous coz she was rooting Fev?  :chuck

Even though I said it too, funny how a girl that sleeps around is a whore, but a guy that sleeps around is a legend ::)

What's this got to do with Krak himself or his case apart from trying to portray the whole Krakouer family as a bunch of crims ::).
some little wizzed journo looking to please his editor :chuck
Spot on Ox. They used the photo of Krak with a black-eye again too ::).
The media are grasping at straws to sell newpapers... what's new ::)

Krakouer reported + knee injury
« Reply #318 on: February 25, 2007, 10:41:02 PM »
Krakouer was reported for kicking, in an incident in which he accidentally made contact to the head of Geelong's Darren Milburn during a goalmouth scrimmage (leaving Milburn with a nasty head gash), of more immediate concern was his knee injury with Krakouer barely able to walk after the game.

In years gone by Krak would've been dismissed as accidental contact but with the AFL and their head contact thing he might be in trouble.

But he shouldnt be.

Didnt King get let off for a kick in the face that ended much worse just two years ago??  Jeff White and his Jaw was it?

When Milburn dived at the ball, IIRC he actually dived about a metre and a half to the defensive side of the ball. How can an attacking forward account for such a wayward dive?

I'm sorry to Darren Milburn with his headache, but if you are going to dive recklessly in the goalsquare then you should expect a kick in the head.  There was a bit of sledging going on towards Krak after he did it too, I wonder what the Geelong players were saying to him???

Also if I was on Krak's defence team I would be compiling a video of all of the goals that Krak has kicked off the ground during his career, I reckon it would amount to quite a few over the years.

Does anyone know, if Krak did get suspended, would he be able to serve by missing praccy matches or would he miss the real deal?

King's was far worse than Krak's as his kick was head high and reckless. In soccer he would have got a straight red card given it's a dangerous kick that can cause injury.

Krak had every right to try and kick the loose ball off the ground. It wasn't as though Milburn was already over the ball. Unfortunately our soccer skills weren't any better than our football skills yesterday and Krak missed the ball and got Milburn's poor face  :P. Same as Tucky hitting fresh air on the goalline  :wallywink. Summed up our day.

Krak cops 3 weeks (1 week with guilty plea)
« Reply #324 on: February 26, 2007, 04:15:18 PM »
Considered Krak's contact negligent, high impact, high contact.

3 weeks in total which ends up 1 week if he pleads guilty

From AAP

The panel charged Krakouer with rough conduct after he kicked Geelong defender Darren Milburn in the head during the second term of Sunday's match at Skilled Stadium.

Krakouer has a good record over the last five seasons, reducing the penalty from three games to one if he makes an early plea.

Krakouer (has) until 11am on Tuesday to decide whether to take his case to the tribunal.

Tiges to appeal Krak charge
« Reply #327 on: February 26, 2007, 06:28:58 PM »
We are appealing the Krak decision tomorrow night (as we should  ::) ) and will use the King-White incident from last year as a precident for Krak to get off. Apparently the Club is incensed about Krak being reported in the first place.

While I can understand the club being angry with Krak being charged I have to say I am not surprised.

As soon as the AFL announced the change to rule regarding head high contact and an incident like this occured a player was going to get charged as an example and so the league can say "we are cracking down on head high contact" - it just so happens that Krak was the first to get pinged. Not saying it is right just saying it was going to happen. It will be interesting to see what happens tomorrow night.

What is more staggering is that Lloyd again didn't get cited - the bloke on the soap box on SEN this afternoon was right there does appear to be a "Rules for the Golden Hair Boy Club"  ::) :banghead :wallywink
