WTF would Longer resign with the Saints. Unless Hickey gets injured, Longer plays in the two's all year next year.
Come to Tigerland and unless he gets injured he play AFL every week. Longer is clearly a better footballer than Hampson.
You are in footy for such a short time and timing is everything- why waste time at a club when you are clearly their second or third choice for that position. It's not like he can get a bit fitter or stronger and play as a flanker.
Call me selfish but I'd be positioning myself where I've got the best opportunity to live my dream.
