When the history books are written they will show the winners, the scores, the goalkickers, the best players and the crowd number. It will also show Richmond won its 12th Premiership in 2019. Everything else is worthless. Dont know why our supporters get into those debates on big footy. Theres no need.

It's not just one website. The sooking is right across the net from opposition club fan forums to multi-sport forums  :lol.

But the overwhelming thing that stood out today, was just how well Richmond play the MCG.
They have player 27 regular season games there over the past two seasons. That's just not acceptable if you are going to insist that all Victorian finals be played there.
27 games played at the same venue....could you imagine if we played 27 games at optus...we would be unbeatable

https://www.eaglesflyinghigh.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=17869

Yet the Eagles did play 27 games at Optus over the past two seasons :stupid.

23 of them were also genuine non-derby home games against travelling interstate clubs including three finals.

Compare that to just our 8 non-derby home games against travelling interstate clubs including one final (this year's GF in which we were the highest ranked team).

The 2017 flag is tainted. When I use that word it means that it doesn’t carry as much weight as flags won by non-mcg tenants (especially interstate clubs when playing an MCG tenant but also any Vic club).

Cats should have hosted the Pies and they probably would have won and had a week off. Hawkins wouldn’t be suspended and it would have been a Cats v Tigers GF at the Cats home and they probably would have won seeing Tigers only won 55% of away games this year and two of those “away games” were at the MCG.

Now Cat fans want a GF at Kardinia Park  :lol. Nothing says biggest and most important match of the year like only a 23k crowd at a Granny  :wallywink.

I find it comical with the selective memory of all the anti Richmond potatoes out there. So much commentary on “they had a dream run with injuries leading into finals.” And their point? Did they forget the number of times we had to basically field our vfl team ? It makes me happy that with the rest of the comp trying to distort the facts and breaking down the quantum maths of how we were able to win 2 flags in 3 years when the answer is quite simple. This is a stuffing good team at the moment and it’s a great time to be a tiger

I don't mind if it's coaches (like Scott) or players but this  other stuff is putrid

I have an asterix next to theirs.  Everyone plays better with a bit of Columbian marching powder in their nostrils.

Scott Dooley @scottdools

AFL: We've created the most balanced and fair draw in the history of the game.

Also the AFL: Richmond will play 23 games at the MCG and kick to the Punt Rd end every quarter.

Andrew Cowell @clubandrew

Not great for @WestCoastEaglesor @HawthornFC @bunyiplobesy.

@Richmond_FC ranking screams of #VicBias

https://twitter.com/clubandrew/status/1190171531764289536

Ricky Nixon @rickynixontoot

Richmond are not clearly the best they had the best run at the end aided by 7 games at the G no injuries apart from Rance......Jack Martin will star for Geelong Josh Jenkin exactly what they need and as for WCE my mail is all is not happy with the coin Kelly is getting

Best team or best Charity

Bombed out in a prelim by 10 goals the had the greatest charity fixture in world sport last year and still finished 3rd on the ladder thats who i'm kidding with facts

so getting 10 of the last 11 games at the MCG including in the first 10 rounds playing 8 bottom 10 teams ok got it #Dreamer

In 37 years again - guess what you have a real fixture in 2020 not a charity fixture

I really dont get why anyone pays or gives Nixon any attention, wierd!

Some West coast supporters have really lost the plot, but really they are only nuffies on forums, just good lol value really.

In the end this is what we all were waiting for, the Giant is awake and the fear is real!

Ricky stays relevant by spewing his vile takes and trolling Richmond supporters. As pathetic as he seems, he's just desperate to stay relevant, and it seems to be keeping him afloat.

Some disturbed opposition supporters out there. Especially the Crows fan below  :stupid.

Four clubs have been fined for breaching rules related to players' whereabouts.

Quote from: Boris Krešić @borris_k
Same old Richmond, always cheating

Quote from: Rhino @rhino1517
Richmond again they always get fined for this. This is like the fourth time it’s happened maybe a more substantial penalty would be better

Quote from: Rob C @Crocka1976
Take the flag off the cheats! Lol let the games begin !!!!

Quote from: @WillSheppard82
Any chance ASADA could fine Richmond 90 points from the Grand Final so my Giants could win by 1? #CantHurtToAsk

Quote from: AFC Fan 4EVA @4eva_fan
Unbelievable. Richmond. Again fined. Where there is smoke there is fire and it's clear why they are so good. Too bad the AFL and the Vic bias so they'll look after Richmond and won't investigate them properly.

Quote from: AFC Fan 4EVA @4eva_fan
Clearly Richmond were on drugs and that's why they won in 2017. Maybe the AFL even sanctioned it because they love there Vic bias.

Quote from: BJPW @bjpw25
Yeah drugs and all the games at MCG

Whilst those comments are stupid it is true in my opinion that our club needs to do better on this issue.weve been fined before. Its a bad look imo.
