I put March in the same category as schulz. both duds.
what exactly does this March actually do. whose side is he on cause lets be honest it aint ours.

i cant remember which one of u said that the afl are pushing us into making the dome our home ground well until we get rid of this march loser that wouldnt surprise me if it happened.

march u r a weak soft prick. get lost

what rot.

Apparently we play Hawthorn twice next year both at the MCG.

The draw is released 10.40am tomorrow.

Playing the Hawks twice means twice as many media articles comparing our list to theirs :sleep

The only way to improve the draw position for the Tigers is to get better on-field results.
All this dreaming of being a power ... only sustained success on-field in finals, TV viewers and in attendance numbers will make the AFL take notice which would result in the favoured RFC draw.
True Darth. More about on-field results than anything else. With the 3rd highest crowds in the AFL and good friday night tv ratings for our games this year despite finishing last we still get treated like a minnow  :P.

MT, the fundamentals are there, IMHO a sustained crack in the finals is the missing ingredient.

FWIW, I reckon Steve Wright is doing an excellent job.

Now, we just have to get the list together (but that is covered on other threads).
Agree with all that Darth. Wright coming on board has been the best thing to happen to the RFC in a long time.

Melbourne v Richmond at Dome silly: Demons chief
Michael Gleeson | October 26, 2007 | The Age

DRAWING the MCG's longest-serving tenants, Melbourne and Richmond, to play one another at Telstra Dome in a year of mutual historic celebrations — as revealed in The Age yesterday — was silly and beyond a regular anomaly of the draft, according to Demons chairman Paul Gardner.

With Melbourne celebrating its 150th year next year and Richmond its 100th in the VFL/AFL, Gardner said the opportunity was there for the league to embrace the game and promote it as a joint initiative at the home ground.

"There are always some anomalies with playing games at Telstra Dome, but Richmond and Melbourne, as the longest-term tenant clubs at the MCG, is particularly silly to be played at Telstra Dome," Gardner said.

"It's like playing Port Adelaide and Adelaide at Whyalla. It is ridiculous.

"But it is Richmond's home game, so it is not for us to complain about.

"But being in our 150th year, and in Richmond's 100th year (in the league), I would have thought you could have made a song and dance about it and made it a special day at the MCG.

"Our members have shown over a long period of time now that they don't like going to Telstra Dome.

"Telstra Dome has a number of advantages, but if the numbers keep telling you people from one side just won't go there, then you just have to look at the figures."

4 out of our 5 interstate trips are on a Sunday afternoon which makes it a bit of a pain to get back to work on the Monday...

Collingwood, again, only 4 interstate trips, I thought Eddie was all for a "level playing field"!!!

Playing Essendon in Rnd 9 & Rnd 16 is a slight anomaly also, one that I will take though!
